29 Years of Experience. One Mission: Help You Feel Better.
I’ve spent nearly three decades helping people reclaim their lives from pain — not by rushing, lecturing, or handing out cookie-cutter protocols, but by listening deeply, treating thoughtfully, and offering the kind of one-on-one care people rarely experience in today’s healthcare system.
I am a dual-licensed Physical Therapist and Massage Therapist, and the only advanced-certified Scrambler Therapy clinician in the Capital Region. My practice blends science, skill, and compassion:
Scrambler Therapy • MLS Laser Therapy • Myoskeletal Manual Therapy • Functional Capacity Evaluations
I help people who are tired of being dismissed, tired of hurting, and ready for meaningful change.
Why I Do This Work
Every day, I meet people who feel like their pain story has taken over their life. They’ve tried medications, injections, PT, massage, chiropractic… with little or temporary relief.
I’ve always believed people deserve more than “management.” They deserve a real chance at resolution.
I first discovered Scrambler Therapy years ago, and it completely changed the trajectory of my practice. I saw patients who had suffered for years begin to experience relief they didn’t think was possible.
One of my early patients — “Mrs. M” — arrived using a walker, unable to stand from a chair without her husband lifting her. She loved Christmas, but could only enjoy her family for 10 minutes at a time before needing to lie down in pain.
Two weeks later, after a course of Scrambler Therapy and personalized manual care, she was cooking, decorating, and buzzing around her home making up for lost time — much faster than either of us recommended!
Seeing her reclaim her life reminded me exactly why I do what I do.
Stories like hers fuel me every single day.
My Treatment Philosophy
Your pain is real.
Your story matters.
Your body is capable of healing — and you deserve someone who believes that.
I practice with five core values:
- Honesty
Clear expectations. Transparent communication. No false promises.
- Freedom
My work is about restoring your independence, mobility, and ability to live fully.
- Compassion
Kindness and validation are as essential as technique.
- Advocacy
I collaborate with physicians, PTs, OTs, and specialists to ensure you’re supported from every angle.
- Rest
Your nervous system heals best in safety. Your care is unhurried, mindful, and individualized.
What Makes This Practice Different
Unlike traditional clinics, I don’t bounce between rooms or delegate treatment to aides. You receive my full attention — every minute of your appointment.
My approach combines:
- Scrambler Therapy to retrain pain signaling
- MLS Laser Therapy to reduce inflammation and support tissue healing
- Myoskeletal and manual therapy to restore balance and alignment
- Functional Capacity Evaluations when detailed, objective assessment is needed
You won’t find this blend anywhere else in the Capital Region.
Everything is tailored — no two people receive the same plan, because no two situations are the same.
A Bit About Me
Beyond the treatment room, I’m someone who values simplicity, community, animals, and joy. My husband and I open our home to pets who need love — including our three-legged chihuahua, who has taught me more about resilience than most textbooks ever have.
I also write a blog called Barks & Brews, which blends my love of dogs, wellness, and the small comforts that make life meaningful.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me cooking vegan recipes, exploring new coffee shops, planning thoughtful community projects, or preparing for advanced trainings to better serve my patients.
This work is my calling — and I am honored to do it.
